Pristine views and right on the beach- the location was perfect because you are away from the central part of the town and right on the best part of the beach, but within minutes of walking to the town square. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to the customers. Isabela conserves its resources and so this is luxury within the limits of what is possible in a place with minimal fresh water. This was the absolute highlight of our our stay and wish we were there an extra few nights. We could have walked the beach and spotted wildlife all day long.Verified Fantastic stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Iguana Crossing Hotel. Our expansive room had a spectacular view of the beach. There was ample storage and the bathroom was spacious. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our meals were a tad expensive (but in line with prices on the island) and were well prepared and tasty. The location was great. Easy to walk to the town but outside of the crowds. Off the breakfast room was a pond with flamingos and other birds. And, the iguanas actually used the crossing near the hotel in the afternoon. We saw over twenty make the hike.Verified Loved it! This has to be the nicest hotel on Isabela - such a beautiful spot with views that are incredible. Just walk out to the beach for stunning pictures and incredible sunsets. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. The rooms were great, with large windows to take in the stunning setting. Hotel breakfasts were excellent and had a variety of offerings including made to order eggs along with the buffet. The pool setting is perfect, and the bar was great too! A short - minute walk to good restaurants and shops. True to its name, we saw iguanas carefully crossing the road here... not to mention the ones in the lobby that we literally thought were fake until we asked the staff!Verified Fabulous location The location of this hotel is fabulous, down the beach road on Isabella island next to the iguana crossing over to the beach. It had breathtaking sea views. Staff were friendly and the pool area was very clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious with large showers. They do try to conserve water so our shower was on a timer button which you had to push. So wonderful to be so close to the beach in such a lovely hotel!Verified Great hotel It’s a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was really really good and you can tell that they take pride in what they offer their customers on all levels. The pool has a great view of the beach and you can sit there and watch the iguanas going back and forth. If you go to the top floor where the hot tub is, you can get a great view up and down the beach. The rooms were big enough that our family didn’t feel crammed in there, even with all our luggage.Verified Wonderful and Well-Located Place; Would Definitely Return! We enjoyed this place so much! We had three rooms: a junior suite for my husband and me, one room for one of my adult sons and his partner, and another room for another of my adult sons. The place was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and well kept. There's a little pond behind it, with a walkway around it, that sometimes has flamingos. It's right across from the beach. There are iguanas that sun themselves on the pool terrace. Breakfast was delicious. Pedro ran the front desk and was our go-to person when we needed something at the hotel. The bar was fine and had a great picture window looking out to the ocean. The pool was sparkling clean and very refreshing after a long day of activity. Location was three minutes away from one beach bar, and less than a ten minute walk to the heart of town. We were here for five nights and loved every minute of it. The Iguana Crossing is an excellent hotel across from the ocean on Isabella Island in the Galapagos. We had an ocean view room with a balcony over looking the ocean and pool. The food was very good and the service was great. Pricing for drinks was a little high especially for Jameson so may be good to ask for prices of drinks before ordering. They also have laundry service which was really nice after a long trip
